Like for other photographers who were fumbling a new film roll in their camera after every 36 shots, the digital age has made it also for me possible to share the photos I took at the time. After many months of long evenings scanning till the early hours of the morning …. here it is: my website with some of the photos I took during 45 years. I started at the age of 16, just to document the big family in which I was growing up, and only got later serious with photography.

You will find photos with mainly historical value (e.g. views over Kabul) which are not expressing the way I want to profile myself as photographer, but I am happy to show them here as these photos show Kabul as it was before all the sad events (invaded by the USSR, the USA in cooperation with others) that have happened since.

Takeo, Cambodia 2013.

Enjoy the site.

How to use the site:
Click on a heading for a short introduction.
Click on the pages that roll-out to check the photos in there.
Click on the photos to enlarge them.

Needless to say that the photos are shown in lower resolution than the originals.
The site is still 'under construction'. I have scanned only a small part of my files and hope to be filling the pages soon.

If you want to react, you can do that through the fields hereunder, and I am happy with every reaction. Your reaction will be only seen by me and not on the site, nor will I publish it without your permission.
