Rock & Roll

Not long after returning from my trip to Asia (see Travels), Fer Abrahams of Music Magazine "Oor" contacted me to join him on his week-end scouting trips along the small venues where beginning bands were trying to start a career in the music scene. I enjoyed these trips a lot, but as stage light was often minimal I needed to use flash, which made it not easy to come home with interesting photos, unless the band would have a ‘show’ part to their music.
From time to time I would get myself a ticket for a bigger act, or my name on the guest list of Paradiso because of my work for Oor.
In February 1984 I joined Fer on a trip for Oor to the USA, to check out some promising new groups. The photos I took during these concerts and trips you find on these pages. Some of the photos I saw for the first time during the long evenings scanning here in Cambodia, as at the time studies came first and I just developed and filed the films......no time to look at them.
