Cambodia

In 1991 I started to work in Cambodia with Artsen Zonder Grenzen-Holland (MSF) and stayed in the country ever since, working for several organizations. On these pages you see photos of Cambodia from the early nineties (mainly Sisophon and the north-western provinces) till now.

Cambodia has a lot to offer for documentary and nature photography. The country and its people are very photogenic. People are very nice and eager to get their photo taken (not like in China where you can get in trouble easy if you take a photo without permission) .

Over time I got involved in bird photography (see under 'Nature') and the protection & rehabilitation of the Prey Nup Mangroves (see preynupmangroves.blogspot.com).
